Frontier's new messaging-based system for customer service has some passengers upset. Joe Lorenz, a passenger who traveled from Michigan to Denver in the New Year's Eve, stated that he could not resolve his issue with Frontier's online check-in via the messaging platform. Instead of resolving the issue over email, he had to talk to a ticket agent at airport.
This employee was rude but not interested in solving the issue. She dismissed him by saying, "I work at the ticket counter, not the gate."
He claimed that he had several conversations with employees and to go through many steps before he could get his luggage checked. He said that he was reimbursed the $25 fee at the airport. However next time, he will switch to another airline.

If you're flying with a carry-on, be sure to follow the weight and size guidelines. Passengers who don’t comply with the guidelines can be charged up to $60 per bag.
