Honda Odyssey 2020 Interior Review

websites reviews

The Honda Odyssey minivan is a great choice if you are looking for one. It's spacious and comfortable, with plenty of cargo area, and it offers a pleasant ride. It is also one of its most reliable in class. In fact, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave the Odyssey a Top Safety Pick Plus rating.

There are four trims for the Honda Odyssey: EX, EXL, Touring and Elite. Higher trims offer features such as an 8.2-inch touchscreen infotainment display, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Odyssey models at the lower end are adequate for most buyers.

The Odyssey is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 with 280 horsepower. It pairs with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Although it may not be as fast or as others, it is sufficient to keep up with traffic on the highway. The Odyssey averages 22 mpg.

Honda has added two new transmissions to the Odyssey's lineup. A nine-speed is standard in the lower models, while a ten-speed is available. Both are available for Sport grades. The Sport model includes black leather seats, contrast stitching in red, and 19-inch alloy wheels. Rear-seat entertainment screens will also be available with integrated streaming apps.

If you want more space inside the Odyssey, then the Sport or Touring trims have the Magic Slide second-row seats. The slide-forward seat allows easy access to the third and fourth rows. The remote start, power-sliding doors at the rear and remote start are also included.

The Honda Odyssey's interior is quiet, spacious, and comfortable. The Honda Odyssey is equipped with many sensors. That includes blind-spot and lane-departure warning, a rear cross-traffic warning system, and active lane control. There are even smart storage areas in the doors and consoles.

The Odyssey, despite its compact size provides ample legroom to its eight-passenger seating. The Odyssey is also very low to its ground. The Honda Odyssey is about two inches longer than the Chrysler Pacifica in terms of legroom.

Honda's Sensing package can also be found on the Odyssey. This includes active and adaptive lane control, cruise control, forward collision warning, and automatic braking. Additionally, the HondaLink app is available for higher-trim models.

Other features on the 2023 Honda Odyssey include USB ports, a complimentary scheduled maintenance plan, and an 8-inch touchscreen. Although the LX was discontinued, the Odysseys of the 2023 model year have a Sport variant.

Lastly, the Odyssey's design is a blend of classic and modern. The interior is not as modern as other minivans but it's still very well-designed.

Honda offers a three-year/36,000-mile limited warranty and five-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty for the Odyssey. These warranties are the same as most rivals. However, the warranty is extended by the company to a maximum of eight years or unlimited mile.

Overall, the Honda Odyssey is a great minivan for families. It's safe, quiet, and spacious. The interior may be a bit bland for some drivers.
