Porsche Taycan Reviews

product review websites for bloggers

The Porsche Taycan EV is a forward-looking vehicle that is undoubtedly one of the best on the market. Its bold design and inviting cabin complement its electric vehicle experience.

This all-electric SUV is a great choice for those seeking to buy an EV that's quick, agile and offers exceptional driving dynamics, but it doesn't deliver the same range as some of its competitors. However, the Taycan has super-fast charging capabilities, which can be a big plus considering its limited range.

It's a slim, lightweight and agile EV that's very fun to drive. Although the Taycan may not be as comfortable as its rivals, it is very quiet on the roads, making it perfect for long drives.

The Taycan is equipped with a wide range of screens inside that can control everything, from its instrument panel to its infotainment screen. There are two touch-sensitive touchscreens in the center console. The first is 8.4 inches up front. The other one faces the driver.

Specifications and features

Although the standard equipment is quite limited, the Taycan includes everything you need from smartphone mirroring to satellite navigation. Upgrades are possible to upgrade to a Bose 14-speaker system. Those upgrades cost $2840.

Stylish and authentic

The Porsche Taycan is designed so that it looks like other Porsche models. It's a sleek, wind-cheating design that's distinctive from other vehicles on the road, which means it's likely to attract attention bystanders who see it out and about.

It is safe and reliable, which is important for anyone buying an electric SUV. Euro NCAP rates the Taycan five stars for safety, but ANCAP doesn't ratify it.

Taycan is a great choice for those looking for an affordable luxury electric vehicle. It's a relatively new entry in the battery-powered performance sedan segment, but it has quickly made a name for itself.

In our tests it was able surpass the Tesla Model S. It can also out-accelerate the Lucid Air GT. The asking price for this unit is up to twice the amount.

Torque and Power

The vehicle's dual-motor motor configuration provides an impressive 570 horsepower. It can accelerate from 0-60 km/h to 100 km/h (in 3.5 seconds) and then to a top speed exceeding 250 km/h. That's more than the 370hp offered by some of its rivals, but it doesn't come close to the 520hp on offer in the Nissan EQS or 550hp on offer in the Tesla Model S.

It is, however, not an absurd figure to see in terms acceleration. This is also a big deal Porsche as it bets its reputation on its electric vehicle line.

Comfortable and Reliable

The Taycan's seats are firm and not too cushiony, which makes them great for fast driving. They provide excellent support for the back and are well bolstered.

Its unique replete screen environment is part of the Taycan’s appeal as well as its class-leading brakes and steering. These characteristics combine to make it a car that really feels like a sports car. The Taycan, with its outstanding handling and amazing agility, is the perfect combination of comfort and performance that Porsche has long sought with their internal-combustion cars.
